Morning, I thought I would havea few minute to type before TOmmy wakes up. But I hear him calling me now. (Typing really fast) We slept pretty good last night Tommy woke up once and went back to sleep without me going in there. At at his usual wake time, he screamed, but he really didn’t seem to wake up I rocked him till he stopped screaming and he stayed asleep.
Here is the recipe I promised Midwestblahs: Very, very yummy!
CHICKEN FINGERS
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 egg, beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
Oil for frying
Cut chicken into ½-in, strips; place in a large re-sealable plastic bag. Combine egg, buttermilk and garlic powder; pour over chicken. Seal and refrigerate for 2-4 hours. In another large re-sealable plastic bag, combine flour, bread crumbs, salt and baking powder. Drain chicken, discarding buttermilk mixture. Place chicken in the bag with the flour mixture; seal and shake to coat. In an electric skillet, ( I used my deep fat fryer), heat oil to 375 degrees. Fry chicken in batches for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Yield: 6 servings.

Glad to hear that you and Tommy did so well last night!!! Next time, I would not pick him up or rock him and maybe just rub his back a bit until he settles. Each time this happens, so less and less. Pretty soon, he should only wake up, fuss a bit and then go back to sleep!
The recipe sounds delicious!!! I think I know what I’m making for dinner tonight!!!!
I made these Chicken Fingers for supper tonight and everyone LOVED them!!!!! Thanks for the recipe!
Thanks for sharing the recipe. I’ll have to try it soon! 🙂
