Hubby was nice today and took Tommy to daycare for me.   I was able to get to work early and get busy.  I am just finishing up my lunch break and I actually accomplished everything on my *work* list before lunch.  (lucky you, I will never share my work list with ya!).   I am doing pretty good about keeping up at work and I am not feeling too burned out either.

I thought I would reflect a bit on my goals for the year again:

It is 2 weeks into the year and how am I doing????

Self – still doing terrible at this.  I am not drinking more than two pops a day, but my water intake hasn’t increased enough.  I have been taking most of my meds at least daily.  I occasionally get to bed on time…LOL!!   And don’t ask about the weight and exercise thing!  ARGH!!  Why is it so hard to take care of me???

HOME – I am doing fine!!  I am happy with my taking over the laundry.  I am keeping up on it, better than hubby was.  I don’t even feel like I have taken additional work on…it just fits into my schedule so well.

FRIENDS – I am doing good.  I had the one party and visited with friends.  I have sent a birthday card to everyone that has a birthday this month in my family.

Ok…enough rambling – time to go find some Tylenol and get back to work!  LATER!

  1. Sweet hubby!  Glad you got all of your work stuff accomplished today.

Great thought to reflect on your goals so far…but give yourself a little break, it’s still early in the year.  I think it takes a few weeks to recover from the holidays and get back to normal LOL.

  2. I think that it’s a wonderful idea to frequently reflect on this year’s goals.  I have been planning to do the same thing about once a month.  I think that you are doing well.  I believe that any improvement is a success in itself.

  3. Sounds like your keeping up with most things on your new years list…. good for you. I have found that I have a couple of water bottles that I constantly fill and leave around the house and when I come upon them I take big swigs… It helps…
