I am just getting ready to head for bed.  I am a little tired tonight.   I have to share a cute new thing Tommy learned.  I had him on his changing table and I put on his socks and I reached for his shoes.  As soon as Tommy saw his shoes, he raised up his foot for me.  Tommy *knows where his shoes go!!!   It was one of my many proud moments.  Gee…I love that little guy!

He has also learned how to put his little toy balls in the sorter toy.  He puts the ball in and then looks down the hole to where the toy went.  It is so cute…LOL!!!

Tonight I had Tommy on the front lawn and we used our toy leave blower bubble maker.  He thought it was great.  He wanted to catch the bubbles with his mouth.

He also went over to the neighbors to see Luke and play.  Luke is only 2 and loves Tommy.  He helped Tommy walk with my assistance.  Luke kept saying, Walk, walk. walk…….It was so cute.  And Luke is tiny for his age, so Tommy is almost as big as him.   LOL!!!

Well it was a relaxing evening spent with my famiy……..I love those kind of evening…and the housework was all done.  Dishes done….clean laundry put away.   AAHH…..

Tonight was Paul’s turn to do dishes. Tomorrow is Josh’s. …..he might have them done by Friday…LOL!!

Good Night….I don’t feel like making my list for tomorrow….maybe in the morning.

My Allergies are acting up, so I am constantly blowing my nose and I am sweating…what a great combination.  Ok….turn on the air conditioning already!!!!  I hate being hot….and I am getting crabby about it.

Hey…maybe sweating isn’t such a bad thing.  I might lose a pound or two…..yeah right!!   I am gonna finish my lunch…..Later.

  • I didn’t get up as early as I would have likes today.  But then again it is Monday, I am lucky I even get up on Monday’s.  I have an 1/2 hour so I quickly got as much done as I could.

BTW – I need some help from you great Homemakers and cooks out there.  Do you have any favorite recipes that call for marinated artichoke hearts???  I have some left over from the pizza we made and I don’t know what to do with them.   Also does anyone have any good recipe for Eggplant???  I am making some for Tommy, but would like to try some myself.  I have never eaten it.

Well off to shower and work.  Flylady wouldn’t like how I did my cleaning today.  I did it in my PJ’s, WHY???  Last time I cleaned in my work clothes I got bleach on my shirt and ruined it.   So now after my 1/2 hour cleaning I will get dressed, works for me…what do I care.

A couple things done on my list already………..

  • I didn’t get as much of my list done as I wanted to as Tommy slept.  My brother called and I talked to him for a while.   After Tommy got up we went to the new park at the ECFE Center.  It is a park designed for children ages 18 months to 5 years.   But Tommy enjoyed parts of it.    We returned from the park at around 8:00.  Josh was home from his Dad’s and had already showered for the evening.   Of course at about 8:15 he mentions that he needs stuff from the store for school tomorrow.   So off to Target we run.  ARGH…I hate how he never tells me he needs stuff until the last minute.  ARGH!!!

Of course I just realized the Note cards I bought him are unlined, so I will need to go buy some more.  I will just use the unlined ones myself.   The weekend is gone again….it goes far too fast.  I have been really busy today, but of course I did manage to take my Sunday nap after church.  That is a luxury I enjoy!

  • I am eating a late lunch here at work.  I get busy and I don’t think to eat until I am really hungry!  LOL!!

I went to the Dr this morning to get my Depo shot.  After that I stopped at one garage sale.  Only bought two pairs of little mittens for Tom and a Gymsport pull over.  After that I stopped off at the bank and cashed some checks and pickup a prescription at Reed’s Drug.

Then I noticed the WBL farmers market was occurring so I stopped at home and got hubby.  We bought some stuff to make babyfood.  I am bought some baby lettuce, eggplant, parsnips, beets and some pumpkin.  So I think I will be making some babyfood this weekend.

Well I need to finish up my lunch and get a couple more things done before I stay home.  Here is hoping for a quiet weekend.

Everyone shoot a good thought to Becky2620 as she is being induced this Sunday.  GOOD LUCK!!!
