Jen’s Summer Get Away
Sorry I have not been blogging much. My time is spent outside on the deck enjoying the evening and a good book. It is all I can do to just keep up with laundry and dishes. I am sure I will blog more once I am on vacation! Hope you are well. I do try and stop by and keep up with my regulars.
Our second book discussion will be starting on my online book group “All Booked Up” soon. We will be discussing Stone Diaries by Carol Shields. Stop by and join us!

Good Morning…..I like your “getaway.” Thats something I would do if I had a deck. Enjoy your day!
WONDERFUL reading spot!! Especially if the humidity is down and it isn’t 90+ degrees outside. Here in North Carolina evenings are about the only time it could be comfortable out there! I’m jealous 
Oh well, I LOVE my air conditioner… and hey… I can SEE the sun from inside…. LOL!
BTW, I went in yesterday and picked through the “Coyan Cookbook” and then headed to the grocery store!! We will be having Coyan favorites around here for awhile! Thanks for such great resources.

I understand how tempting your summer get away spot must be. It would be to me, *if* it had mosquito netting around it! I’m terribly allergic to fleas, chiggers, and mosquitoes make me swell up like most people do when bit by a spider.
I’m with your friend from NC – it’s too hot and humid in Oklahoma to spend much of a day outside. Then the bugs come out at night . . . So I’m an indoor girl who loves her air conditioning, as well!
