This was an interesting book… a thriller taking place in the medieval times.  Adelia is a female doctor that is able to “listen to the dead”.  She is a doc that studies the cause of death of people.   She is sent to investigate the murder of three children.  The community has blamed the Jews for the deaths and she sets out to find the real killer.
