Weird Thing Happened……

Last night I headed to bed a bit later than usual.  I woke in the night around 1:05 to use the restroom.  I wasn’t feeling too good.   I started to feel like I was going to faint.  So I got up to call to Paul for help.  I guess I didn’t make it.   I woke up on the bathroom floor and I had hit my head on the vanity, door or something.  I sort of got my barrings and called to Paul and luckily he heard me and woke to help me.  It was really weird.  I do get a warning that I am going to faint.  I start feeling clammy, sweating and my vision blurs.  This is the third time in about a year this has happened to me.  This time was worse since I actually hit my head and was out for a bit.

I suppose I should go to the Dr about this.   It only seems to happen when I have awaken in the middle of the night or from a deep sleep.   I think it might be related to my lack of sleep/exhaustion.   So I have gone to my morning meetings and I am heading home an hour early to rest a bit before Erik gets home.  I was hoping to go to at least my bible study tonight at church.  I might not stay for Lenton service as I should rest a bit as I have to work a full day tomorrow.  It is Wednesday and I have worked 28 hours alredy so I guess an afternoon off couldn’t hurt.

Have a great day!

  1. Yes, you should see your doctor about it. It maybe be nothing but to be safe you need to call. I have had black out episodes all my life, they are still not able to explain it but they sure are scary. I remember when I was first married, I told my husband I needed help to the bathroom because I felt very weak and thought I may black out. He thought that it would be like in the movies and I would just faint into his arms. LOL….BOY was he shocked when I landed flat on my face in the middle of our hallway LOL, we laugh about it now.

  2. I wonder if your blood sugar drops after too many hours without eating or something. I hope the doctor has some answers for you! That is dangerous! I’m so glad you’re alright.
