RYC: We started date nights when I was pregnant w/ Taryn – almost 5 years ago. I felt guilty about it at first, but he kept saying I’d been home w/ the kids exclusively for 12 years, it was time to do something for me. Sometimes we just go to the grocery store, sometimes a movie (there’s a dollar theater pretty close), sometimes window shopping, but usually always out to eat. (It may be something like McDonald’s or more rarely a steakhouse.) Now that we’re coming up on warm weather, we’ll probably pack a picnic occasionally to take to the State Park just up the road from our house. It varies week to week & according to the weather.
