The cooking session went very well. All the ladies always ask afterwards when the next one is!! The next one will be marinades and side dishes. We will do that sometime in June in time for grilling season. My feet hurt from all the standing though.
My hubby is such a sweety, he came up to the church to help clean up at the end of the cooking session. What a nice surprise! I am very lucky I do not have one of those hubbys that stays home on Sundays and I have to attend church alone. I had to attend church alone in my frist marriage. My hubby attends church with the family ever Sunday. He is a good Dad teaching his sons how to be a good hubby and father. Have you ever heard the saying a couple that attends church together, stays together. I truly belive that is true. It makes a huge difference in our relationship. I don’t know how I got on that subject…..I guess I am jsut feeling very blessed and thankful today for my hubby.
Well time to get things ready for tomorrow and head to bed to read for a while. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Sorry I didn’t get around to everyones site. Hopefully I will get caught up soon!
Sounds like a lot of cooking was done. That means lots of stuff for your freezer right? I sure hope so. I love having stuff in the freezer. The one thing that helps me most is having precooked hamburger meat and chicken pieces in the freezer. I love that! Anyway, as for you getting to everyone’s site…..I have had a hard time with that lately, especially since my list keeps getting bigger (mostly knitting blogs and such). I always love reading your posts though, so please forgive me.
