Jen’s Morning Out and About………..
My morning walk is talking me out along the lake and too that Light House! The breeze off this water is COLD!!! All that white stuff is snow!
That is where I came from….the city of Duluth is built on a hill.
That is the arial bridge….it goes up when a ship comes through. No ships came through during my walk. Though the water looks to be mostly open and free of ice.
Seagull everywhere!! I love the sound of them….I just sat and listened to them. I didn’t sit too long as I didn’t want to freeze to the bench…*smirk
More Seagull…..the man with the bagis feeding them.
A close up of the snowy water.
This is the DECC where my conference is tomorrow morning. It is walking distance from my hotel suite.
LIttle Angies Canteena – where we always go for Happy Hour after the conferences on Monday! LOVE IT!! YUMMY!!
Heading back towards the hotel now……stopping at Subway to grab a salad to go!
My home away from home…..my hotel. Headed upstairs to have my lunch after my very cilly walk.
After lunch I headed up and over that hill to the MALL!!!
Ok….I am starving I am going down stairs to have a snack/supper and will let you know how my 4 hours of shopping went! I hate shopping….but it went pretty good!
Later!
Great pictures, looks like a pretty area to tour. Have fun at your conference. Blessings! 😉
we’ll miss u’ll at the office!!! 🙂 b sure to call in! lol MY—it must’ve been much colder in Duluth on Sunday than Saturday. We had sun on Saturday, then Sun in Grand Marais also….altho there were beautiful BIG waves smacking the shore! I could’ve watched for hours…so relaxing and hypnotic…kinda like a natural lullabye! 🙂 ENJOY THE CONFERENCE!
Great Pics! I came to your site from a recommendation from Journeyof7 who said you may have lots of answers because you are a social worker! Duluth looks like a neat place to visit! Enjoy your conference!
I have never seen icy snowy water like that before!!
