Maybe this is a DUH moment, but I figured out something with my weight watchers points that has been really helpful. Since I make a menu and I know what is for supper every night, I figure out those points then what is left is what I have for lunch and snacks, etc. Supper is usually my big point meal since I don’t cook light or anything for the family. So today I know I will be eating at least 9 points for supper so I already counted those off for the day. Hopefully this will keep me from not having enough points left for my planned supper.
The other thing I found out…my favorite treat at Turtle Sundae from Culvers is 29.5 points!!! YIKES!! That is over 1 days of points. I guess those will become a very rare treat now.
Yes! This is a great tip! I did weight watchers several years ago and found it easier to START counting my points at dinner time the night before, then following with breakfast and lunch for the next day (I always found that it was easier to eat low points at breakfast and lunch than at dinner).
You’re doing great! Have you seen any lost pounds yet?
Hey!…I gave a 21 challenge to not add more clutter into our homes…and while doing that I added the decluttering our homes…not that we are going to be able to do that in 21 days…although some have attempted it…I would not recommend it. ;O) Jump in where ever and take the time to go through each room.

Culvers has yummy ice cream but when it’s 29 points, wow, that is alot to splurge on. 🙂 Glad you are liking WW. Have a great day!
i cannot believe culvers has 29 points. I am shocked. I know it is custard and not ice cream though. I think that is a rip off of the points.
Thanks so much for all the info! I just printed it out! DH wants to do something! He said it really was up to me. I kind of wanted to go to this town called Waltham Minnesota at some point. See it is waaay down there right by Austin Minn and I used to spend every summer there as a kid. It was my grandparents home who have long since passed on, but just to see the little town again….
You could always get your treat and just not eat the whole serving. Eat half and then it’s HALF the points…
Hey, we would love to have you on our site. You need to e-mail either me or luvthewaves with starting weight and measurements and then put in an application to join the blog. luv to lose. Thanks for stopping by and if you have already sent that stuff to her, please forgive me. Have a great day and good luck with the losing. I am a lifetime member of weight watchers and have lost alot of weight several times with them. Unfortunatly, when I go off of it, I put it all back on. Bad me!
I think that’s a great idea. It’s simple when you know which meal is going to be your most points consumed.
EEK about your favorite dessert! I agree with Michelle– try eating just half. That way it doesn’t feel as decadent.
