Morning……I woke up before my alarm this morning.  Aldi opens at 9:00 and I plan on being there around that time to beat the crowds.   I have my list ready and I picked up cash yesterday.  Hopefully if I stay within my budget so I can buy the Buy one get one free Ham offer at Cub.   My weekly budget for my family of 5 for groceries is $75.00.  I might have to increase that in the summer as I buy for convenience foods for the boys to make when we are at work.  Also Erik lives with us full time in the summer.  We will see what I can manage.   It is all in the planning.

Last night I didn’t even hear hubby come to bed after picking up the boys at chruch.  I was so tired!   I finished a chapter in my book and collapsed.  Yesterday was nice though I talked to my neice Susan and my mom on the phone.   It was nice to chat with family.   I live so far away from my family and I miss them often.  I wish I could be there to help out my neice and have Tommy be able to play with her son.   My neice has a little boy and is just starting to make babyfood for him.  I made all of Tommy’s babyfood from scratch so she had a couple of questions.  I should add some of that info to my website…..it sure saves alot of money to make your own babyfood.    I also got a lovely surprise in the mail.  My friend Dawn sent me a lovely Easter gift it made me smile to be thought of.   It was candy so I had to eat it all before I start weight watchers on Monday…LOL!!  I would hate to know how many points I ate yesterday!   I will try to count my points for the weekend so hopefully I might lose even an ounce on Monday!  My life is certainly blessed by good friends.  Oh and even a friend from work called yesterday since I was working from home.

OH….and my Dad is doing well.  He has had four treatments of radiation and is doing good.  I hope he continues to do well with the treatments.   With him being sick, I really wish I was closer to home.  I don’t feel like I can provide much support to them.

TODAY…

The laundry is going and I just finished my breakfast.  I had to make sure I ate this time before going shopping.  Last week I didn’t have time and it is so hard to stay on budget when your hungry!    After I get home from shopping hopefully my family is out of bed, then we are off to the library.   Home again for lunch and then we are going to the movie in the afternoon.  We are taking the boys to the Robots movie.   Busy…busy……

I am off to shower and get going with my day.  Have a great weekend!!  Hopefully I will get my lists all done this weekend.
