Almost time for Tommy’s Conferences. I have accomplished afew things around here this morning, which is good. I cleaned the upstairs bathroom, took out the garbage and made the Shepard’s pie. I have the casserole in the fridge so I can call Josh and have him put it in as hubby is working late tonight and I never get home that early.
I am off to washed the dishes and get dressed for Tommy’s Conferences and work. Have a great rest of your day!
UPDATE:
They just called from Tommy’s preschool and the 4/5 year old class he is going into next year will actually be a mixed age group as there are 4 three olds in there too. Tommy being one of them. Hubby still wants him on the waiting list for the 3 year old class that is 3 days a week. I have mixed feelings about Tommy going to preschool 3 days a week this next year. I would rather he go two days and then in the 2006/2007 school year he would go to preschool three days a week and then the following year he would go to Full day Kindergarten, most likely at a private school as the public school does not offer Full day Kindergarten. I am very happy we will be able to offer him three years of preschool. Erik was so ill prepared for Kindergarten and I think it has efffected him ever since. Tommy should be very well prepared for Kindergarten. Both Erik and Tommy have late birthdays. Tommy will be an older Kindergarten kid like Erik was.
I think I agree with your hubby. There is a lot of development between 3 and 5 and I would be concerned that they would have higher expectations of Tom. I think they have too high of expectations in the early years anyway especially for little boys who are a little behind little girls as it is.
You know your son and know whats best and that is the most important!
Loved you vacation pictures, I was amazed at the frozen lake!!
Cute new look here. Have a great day! 😉
