Went to the allergist this morning.  At first he was really wanting to get aggressive with my treatment.  Bronchiscope, Chest CT and see the pulmonoligist again.   But after he realized I was better for about a week, but caught another cold from my son, he decided to just change my predisone protocal.   It is a more complicated longer taper that he thinks will get me through flu and cold season.  I hope it does!!  So looks like I will be on predisone for a few more months.    I am feeling a little better, so hopefully it continues to improve.   I will call and check in with him in 2 weeks.  I am glad he didn’t make me come in for an appointment.  I can’t afford all these $20.00 co-pays for the office visit!
