I can’t believe it…..I can’t sleep. I have been up since 4:00 or so. Must be the combination of predisone and antihistimine. Today was payday so I paid the weekly bills, made the errand/grocery list for tomorrow. I have to buy more laundry detergent, I ran out yesterday and didn’t get all the laundry done. So I have about 3 loads to finish up over the weekend to be completely done! Plenty to do!
**Frugal TIP** Ok…maybe you already do this, but I cut my bounce sheets in half and get twice as many loads out of a sheet. Some people reuse them, but I don’t find that as effective. So I cut them in 1/2 and that is enough to take care of the static for one load.
Hubby and I are going to the play that got snowed out on Saturday. Hmm…hope we have a sitter lined up! I don’t think Josh is working….I have to talk to him about that. I think he also owes me insurance money.
I insisted that Tommy sleep in his bed last night. He did ok after a fair amount of tears. I just needed a good night sleep and of course I wake up in the middle of the night…go figure! I am feeling better so I will be going to work today! I have to work late and hubby is taking the youngest two boys to the Winter Fest at church. I will be an hour late due to a meeting.
I need to go through bins in the basement and find some pants to fit Tommy. He has sprouted up in the last week and all his size 3T are high water. Erik’s room, closet and drawers in need of attention too! I opened his closet to but his boots away…ARGh….I know where he has been throwing everything again.
I am going to go cut some coupons ….hpefully I will get sleepy soon and get a few minutes of sleep before the alarm goes off! Doubtful!
You are one frugal mama! A repair guy once told my Mom that it’s better for the dryer if you use less fab softner, too.
When I was on prednisone, I was totally sleepless. It was awful. Hope you got some rest!
So sorry you aren’t sleeping! Thanks for the frugal tip. I do tend to use the dryer sheet twice if I have a small load. Have fun at the play! WOOHOO! A date night. I can’t remember the last time we did that! One of the kids is always needing to be somewhere or get picked up etc. Have a great weekend!
Our Taryn would prefer not to sleep in her bed, but it’s a wonder what stickers do! If she knows she can get a sticker on the calendar for going to sleep in her own bed, she tries really hard. (It doesn’t negate it if she comes in our room in the middle of the night, but I’ve found she doesn’t do that quite so often if she starts off in her bed…) Have a great day! ~Lori
