Supper Tonight….


SWISS STEAK


Makes 6-8 servings


2-lb round steak, cut into serving pieces
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1 large onion, sliced or 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
16 -oz can tomatoes


1.  Combine ingredients in slow cooker.


2.  Cover.  cook on low for 6 to 10 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours. 


Note:  You may want to  omit the salt if you use the onion soup mix.

  1. Oh, I’m printing that recipe out!  Sounds like something my family would like. 

    As for my chicken & rice dinner, the recipe I had didn’t say, so I just mixed the olive oil, salt, cream of chicken soup, water & rice all together & poured that into a long glass casserole dish (of course mix the broccoli in at this point, too, but I was out of that) & then lay the chicken on top & sprinkle the chicken with the pepper & paprika.  We have some left over from last night that I’m going to make hubby & I & add another vegetable on the side…that way I don’t have to cook!!  The girls are staying over at my parent’s tonight.
