AAAAH….a quiet moment in my day. Another busy day of course. We were out of the house and off to get groceries by 10:30 only 1/2 hour later or so than I usually go. Hubby just isn’t a get up and lets go kind of guy! I slightly overspent my $50.00 a week budget for food…but did pretty good. I was hungry for Lasagna so I bought the stuff to make that. And of course I never jsut make one!! I made 5 lasagnas 2 little ones for my BIL and three for us. We ate one for supper tonight. I am still prefecting my recipe, but this one was better than that last one.
After groceries I watched my neice and nephew for my SIL after she dropped Tommy off at home. I made them all lunch and did the dishes. Hubby hadn’t kept up with the dishes the last few days when I was working late. Then I tried to get Tommy down for a nap so I could make lasagnas, but he didn’t cooperate so he helped me cook instead.
My neice came back over at 6:30 for us to watch her. So she joined us for supper and than we left to go drive and look at Christmas lights. We found a place that had a blow up Grinch in their yard and Tommy made us drive by it twice. Then we headed down to Mears and Rice park in downtown to look at the lights. That didn’t turn out so great since Tommy feel alseep on the way there. OOOPS….so we didn’t get to getout and watch the ice skaters and take a horse ride or anything. Bummer…..we looked at the lights and came home.
Tommy is asleep in his bed right now, not sure if that is a good thing or not. If he sleeps for the night great….if he thinks this is just a nap, i am in trouble!!! I think I am going to go read my book for a 1/2 hour until hubby is ready to watch our last rented movie. I can work and write plans while we watch the movie.
Sounds like a perfect day!

Lasagna is great to freeze, that’s nice that you make alot of them at once. Cheese is high, so it raises your food budget. Hope you get to have a relaxed evening. 😉 Blessings!
Sounds like quite the busy day!
