Finally biting the bullet and getting my oldest son a cell phone.  I am adding him to our plan since he is working and driving and I want to be able to get ahold of him when needed.   So we have made a deal that I will pay for the service instead of giving him allowance every two weeks.   He still has to do the things he needs to for his allowance.   Seems like a fair deal.   I budget $40 a month for his allowance and his cell phone will be less than that so it should work out ok for everyone.
