I would have belived my hubby. lOL!! They are suggesting a diagnosis of Asperger’s Syndrome for my stepson. Now considering I have an nephew with this, and a brother in law and I am a DD social worker with a caseload of kids with autism and aspergers, I jsut don’t see it!! We will be having some more testing done of Erik this summer. I hhate to do it to him, but we have to rule out things. The first one is a neurologist to rule out organic brain damage, then probably back to Fraser who specializes in autism. He has been seen there for a neuropsych there already. Should be an interesting summer! He has a psychologist appointment every two weeks and now I will have to fit in a neurologist appoint. I am glad we hopefully will be figuring out what Erik’s difficulty really is…… I am off to a Dr appointment for a possible sinus infection….then home finally! I want to just curl up on the couch then and sleep, but I doubt that will happen. |
