Looks like we might be rained out today for geacaching.  rose wanted to know more about what geocaching is…..it is hard for me to explain since I am fairly new at it.  It is like a electronic treasure hunt.  You go to the geocaching website and look up where a geocache is hidden.  On the webiste the coordinates are listed and you use those to find the treasure with a global positioning system (GPS).    Once you find the geocache you sign the log and some have little trickets in them so you take one and leave a trinket.  My kids love scavenger hunts so I think this will be alot of fun for them.  Most of the geocaches are hidden in parks and places so we will discovere new places in the city as well.
