I made cookeis this afternoon.  They turned out really good.    Hubby liked his surprise.

Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

1-1/2 cups bitter or margarine, softened

3 eggs

1 cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar

1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3-1/3 cups flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2 (4-ounces) packages instant vanilla pudding powder
2 cups chocolate chips

Cream butter, eggs, sugars and vanilla together and mix well.   Sift Flour, soda and pudding powder together and add to creamed mixture.  Add chocolate chips.  Mix well.  Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets.  Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes just until golden; do not over-bake.

Note:  Cook-and-Serve pudding can also be used but increase flour about ½ cup.  Also, can use chocolate or tapioca.

Kelvin Homemakers 50th Anniversary Cookbook (Great Plains)

We had Cheese Beef Macaroni and salad for Supper.  There were no leftovers so they must have liked it.     Hubby did the dishes tonight.  I like this rotating turns…LOL!!   Tomorrow is Josh and Erik’s turn.  I am pretty much caught up on the laundry so I won’t be doing any tomorrow.  I got to have a hot bath and a drink, how relaxing!!!   That is rare treat and so welcomed after I did my stretches from the chiropractor.   I couldn’t do very many of the stretches.

We are watching my niece and nephew tomorrow for the day.  They will be going to church with us and then we are going to the carnival at Erik’s school I think.  We will see how it goes with 5 kids for the day.

I think I will head to bed now, read for a bit and snuggle with hubby.   Later!

  1. Hey – I made pudding cookies this week too.

Mine were from an idea I had – was making sugar cookies one day and had an extra box of instant chocolate pudding. Decided to dump it in and DH absolutely loved them!
