Hope to add some favorite tried recipes from the last few weeks. Here is one of hubby’s favorites!
PULGOGI (AKA KOREAN BARBECUE)
6 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 green onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 lb meat of choice, cut in strips
Directions:
In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, green onion, garlic, toasted sesame seeds, flour, and pepper. Marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes or overnight. Sear meat in a wok or frying pan with marinade. This is great for pork, chicken, or steak. Serve with steamed white rice.

• Paul’s co-worker recommends adding ¼ tsp of MSG to enhance flavor.
I love Pulgogi! I’ll have to save this recipe and try it sometime. I so miss getting korean food whenever I wanted it!
