PSALM SUNDAY…….

We were running a little late for church, but made it in time.  Tommy didn’t want to participate in laying psalm at the alter.  He didn’t have enough time to warm up to the idea since we were late.    I took him into service with me.  He watched Jesus ride in on a Donkey.  He liked that.  This year the donkey even seemed to behave.  One year he bucked all over.  The children all came in after Jesus and laid Psalms up front.   After all that was done, Tommy said really loud, “I Go Play Cars!”  “I go MY Friends!”  Now he was ready to go to his Sunday school classroom, so I took him there.  

The services was nice.  Our new teaching pastor was installed.   He is a graduate from Duke University.  I hope he stays with our church for a while.  We have had many changes with Pastors.   That is always hard on a congretation.   After Easter our church is starting the 40 Days of Purpose Campaign.   I am hoping my hubby will be willing to join another small group for this.  We wil see.

Right now we are watching Spring Time Elmo.   Then we will have a bit of lunch and have our naps.  

Yesterday went ok, I did mop the kitchen and bathroom.   I got most of the dishes washed, but need to finish them today.   Today I am going to focus on laundry since my hubby is home to carry the basket for me.   I actually cooked last night.  I made Chicken Rolls (a bit challenging, but very good!)  and Mushroom rice…(very easy and good).  I will share receips later!    I had some strawberrys that were going a bit bad so we made a fruit smoothy.  Tommy enjoyed making it and putting the stuff in the blender, but didn’t like the taste as much.  I put in bananas,  strawberries and vanilla.  

Well I better get busy with figuring out some lunch.   Later!!!

Tommy is down for a nap so I should try to get a few things done.   Many chores have not been done since my accident.   Our kitchen floors have not been swept and mopped in the three weeks since the accident.  I am going to try to get that done today.   I wll try to make some supper as well.  We will see how well I do until the pain is too much. 

We are out of towels and stuff again.  I will have to figure out how to do some laundry as well.

SATURDAY…………….

I hope to get some running around done this morning.  I need to return this Blazer we were test driving.   I need to return stuff to the library and stop at the dealer in Stillwater and put a hold on the Blazer I want to buy.

Tommy ended up sleeping with us last night so it wasn’t the most restful night of sleep.  I hope to relax some today and get a nap.  My back isn’t hurting too bad this morning but after driving I know it will be.  ARGH….it sure hurt last night.

I better shower and get my day started.

Well we tested drive the vehicle I brought home from brooklyn park.  We aren’t going to buy it.  ARGH…so I have to take it back tomorrow morning.  ARGH!!  I dread that drive.  I will tell them I want to buy the one at Stillwater Motors.  I will have to call and have them hold that vehicle for me and make the needed repairs to it.

Well the other truck I was looking at online is still on the lot.  The dealer offered that I could take the vehicle for overnight since they close at 6:00 am my hubby wouldn’t be able to see the vehicle.   So after my last homevist today I will be heading to go pick that up for the night.  I will have to have Josh help me return it tomorrow morning. 

So by tomorrow I will know which vehicle I want and should have the deal final by Monday with the bank, etc.   It will be good to have a dependable vehicle again.

Well the other truck I was looking at online is still on the lot.  The dealer offered that I could take the vehicle for overnight since they close at 6:00 am my hubby wouldn’t be able to see the vehicle.   So after my last homevist today I will be heading to go pick that up for the night.  I will have to have Josh help me return it tomorrow morning.

I stopped at my credit union on the way home from work.  I applied for a car loan.  I was preapproved within 5 minutes for my loan and walked out of the bank.  That is what I call service.  So now I have to jsut find the vehicle I want to purchase.  

Tonight we looked at a trailblazer in Stillwater.  Tomorrow we are going to look at a Blazer in Brooklyn Park….then we will decide between those two I think.  So I should have a new truck by next week some time.  So that will be one less stresser for us.

Ok,,the Insurance company games continue.   We have not yet settled with the ins. co about my truck.    I am going to go get a loan for a different vehicle hopefully today and will jsut wait the ins. co out.   Now our payroll department is talking with my attorney regarding my lost wages and I might not get paid for a part of my time off.  So I will most likely need to eat that cost and use savings to make it with that too.  

I am going to take my Family Leave Act so that my employer will still pay my benefits while I am recovering.  I can’t tell you how stressful this all is for me.  GRRRRRRRRRRRR…..talk about victimizing the victim!
