Morning….  yes, it is O dark thirty and I am up.  ARgh….I didn’t sleep that well.   Actually I take that back, I slept fine until hubby comes to bed.  I went to bed hours before him so I was sound asleep when he came in.   He flicks on the hall light, which shines in my eyes and wakes me up.  He is blowing his nose…wakes me up again.  Argh…..he is hacking nd coughing, wakes me up again.

I know the reason I sleep so poorly is of him.  Argh….I wish I was a sounder sleeper, but since the baby was born, I am such a light sleeper.   Which is interesting since I never have to get up with the baby, he sleeps through the night since December.

Ok…I am done whining, I better hit the shower, I need to be on the road by 6:50 at the latest.  I hate early morning meetings.  I think that is the only thing I hate about being a kid social worker is that all the school like to have meetings before school.  Are they crazy??????

As you can tell I am NOT a morning person!

I need to be up early, early tomorrow for a 7:45 meeting on the other side of the city.  So I am heading to bed here shortly.  We just got home from Families First.  It was interesting tonight, we discussed the book, “Letter From a Skeptic” by Boyd.   It is a interesting book which is a correspondences between a father and son, one being a pastor and the other a non believer.  So they discuss various topics regarding Christianity, etc….It bought up alot of discussion on the lines of why does God allow bad things to happen etc.

I did make it to the library today!!  Yeah…I love the library.  When I am stressing I love to go to bed insanely early and READ, READ!!    I did get one book on Tape for my commute, “we are the Mulvaneys”.  I picked up “Grange House” for my BookMoms group.  So I am anxious to start reading them.  I didn’t start listen to the book on tape on the way home from the library.

Well I am off to bed….I think I will be nice and put Tommy into his Pj’s first for hubby.   NIGHT ALL!

Yep. that same truck hit me this morning.  I tried to sleep in  bit but that didn’t work.   I was up and dressed by 7:30.   Oh well…I have been working, but not as productive as last week.  Tommy was pretty cranky this morning, but I have been working since he has been asleep.  I have one service plan and budget updated.

I will probably need to work a few hours this evening, after church of course.   Well I am off to check when my library books are due.

Later!

Later!

Hello everyone….hope you all had a nice day.   Hubby’s class was cancelled tonight so of course since he was home to help with baby, we made babyfood.  So are you sick of my talking about babyfood yet…LOL!!  I’m obsessed.   I wish I would have done this with my other children.   Ok…I am going to talk about it a bit..sorry!   Tonight I made carrots and more yams.   I have to give you my cost break down since I am so impressed with the savings!

Carrots – I bought a 5 lb bag at Sam’s Club for $1.98.
The bag made 70 TBS of babyfood, which equals 28 jars of babyfood at the store.   The jars are about 50 cents a jar, so that would have cost $14.00.  So I saved $12.02.  great deal!

Yams – I bought a bag at Sam’s the cost was $3.48. The bag made 56 TBS of babyfood, which equals 22.4 jars.  That would have cost $11.20 if bought in jars.  I saved $7.72.  Cool deal!

So every time some asks me why I make my own food, the savings are a big part, but the biggest selling point is the nutrients and taste!  They actually taste good, more like the real thing!

Ok…I am done talking about babyfood now!

My new reading list is out for my Internet BOOKMOMS reading group.

I suppose I should head to bed, I need to get up early and work a bit before Tommy wakes up for the day.  Tomorrow is my day to write service plans at home.  I hope to get at least 3 done, wish me luck .  I did get three done last week.

Oh Yeah, before I forget I wanted to welcome a new subscriber and expectant Mommy Elizabeth_Gray.   I am glad you joined us.  There are a number of us that either have new babies or youngsters.  It is great to learn new ideas from others.

CupOJava – Good luck on making those food cubes for your little man.   Yams and avocados are great starters.  And the best part is you don’t even have to cook the avocados.   International Gymnast  – hmmm…there is a bit we don’t know about you!     Your Secret is out of the bag now.  I always have to laugh, our lives are so parallel.  Now if you only lived in the same state we could share food cubes…LOL!!

I always want to comment to others that leave comments, but I think if I comment to them in the actual comment section they won’t see it, so I might blab at ya this way..LOL!!

KimmiesMommie – Keep the truck to yourself tomorrow morning.  Man, I am not adjusting yet.  I already had a nap this evening so now I am too awake…so I just keep typing!!

Stop me I need to go to bed!!!!!!!!!!!  Ok…that is enough blabbing…..Night!
